Off - Premise Event Chef



Position Type: Full Time 

Job Purpose: 

Oversee, manage and assist with all food production quality and quantity.  Supervise food production staff and work with staff during functions. Maintain highest safety and sanitation standards.  Maintain profitable food and labor costs.  Ensure that all food preparation is done for events to start on time. Exceed guest expectations always

Job Duties

  1. Maintain safety standards at all times, at all events on and off premise
  2. Ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times
  3. Follow documented recipes and maintain the high quality of food production, presentation and taste that has been established by Mazzone Hospitality
  4. Work as a team with all Mazzone Hospitality personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
  5. Must be able to manage and execute all culinary aspects off-premise event from preparation of menu items to execution and load out of event.


  • Friendly, outgoing, organized, and possess good communication skills
  • Previous high volume banquet experience
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Communicate effectively to determine production needs
  • Work varying shifts, weekends and Holidays
  • Overtime is required and needed
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent Knife skills
  • Solid cooking skills
  • Cooking degree preferred


Salaried position - $52,000 per year
