I am an at home cook I love cooking for party's and events I am preparing to do a very large event of 200 people I am making several dishes and one is rigatoni and I was just debating how much pasta would be adequate? There is gonna be meatballs, sausage n peppers potatoes, green beans and salad. If any one has any recommendations it would be appreciated.

Spaghetti is usually considered in terms of 1 pound of dry pasta will feed  four people when cooked. Rigatoni would be a little different because it is a different shape. I'd pick up a package at the store and read the directions on the back to see how much they recommend per person when cooked. Then just multiply it out for your 200. Of course, making a bit extra is always a good idea for hungry eaters, leftovers and the unexpected guests.  Of course, being able to buy it in bulk somewhere nearby will help a little, too.
