Help with a culinary school project

Thread Starter

Hello all. I'm working on a project for my Hospitality Management class, and need to ask some questions. I will appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

Questions

1) What is your official job title

2) What does your typical day look like.

3) What is the most enjoyable part of your job

4) What is the least enjoyable part of your job.

5) How did you get your position.

6) Is there anything else that you think is important.

Thank you for your time.

I've had this project in my first semester professionalism class and had to give a presentation on it.  It's a bit scary at first, but you really need to get out there physically interview restaurateurs/owners/management these questions.  It's good management practice because you will need to interview for your business, if you're going to own a restaurant some day.  You are also going to have to interview potential employees.  Asking questions to total strangers on the internet is hindering your growth.

Several people in my first semester class found part-time jobs with restaurants and caterers and I spoke to one of them the other day and he still has the job and we will graduate in a few weeks.  He spent a week in Vegas, working on a catering gig.

There are lots of restaurants in Kansas; especially good barbecue joints.  Just do it!
