Hello all!

 

My name is Francisco, but please, call me Frankie. I am genuinely excited to become a member of this community and I find it interesting that it took me so long to find it.

 

Living in San Antonio ,TX and originating from all over Northern California (from the Bay Area to Shasta County to Calaveras County and areas in between) and having family with roots in Oklahoma (and Scotland before) as well as Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, I have had many different experiences with food and can't wait to converse with you all.

Hi Frankie! We're glad to have you with us. I wonder how it was that your path to Chef Talk took a while? Never mind, you're here now and can enjoy the place.

 

My brother was at Ft. Sam Houston briefly in the 60's and loved San Antonio. I hear it's a city one must visit at some point, so it's on my list. Our nephew will be going to U-Texas at Austin, so when we visit him that could be a good chance to make SA part of a tour a the state.

 

Our discussion forums are wonderful places to learn and share, but don't miss the cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, photo galleries and more. Our content here goes back 14 years! You'll be glad we have such a good search tool. :D Of course, the greatest wealth of Chef Talk is its wide variety of members. We hail from all over the world, all ages, all levels and types of culinary experience. I'm a home cook myself, but I served a brief stint both BOH and FOH, and one of my brothers is the owner-operator of a long-established restaurant. Plus, I eat out a lot. :lol:
