I've made pizza dough every week for the past five years. I make it in a bread machine. The last two weeks, the dough has been very salty. I do not put any salt in the dough.. I tried again this week with a new batch of flour. Same problem. What could be going on? Could the yeast be bad or not working properly, and causing a salty taste?

IDK - gremlins is a better answer than I would have proposed.
But pizza dough with out salt could be very bland. I (or my kitchen gremlins) always put some salt into the dough.
If you don't mind me asking a personal question... but are you taking any medications that may be altering your taste buds? That happened to a friend of mine once.
