I don't care for buttercream frosting so I searched and found a cream-cheese recipe I liked here:
However I found this recipe too sweet so I wanted to use less sugar. About 3 cups instead of the 4 in the recipe tasted pretty good, but the result was a pretty thin, soft frosting. I want to make it more firm/thick but don't want to add any more sugar. I tried adding marscapone, and it tasted fine, but did not really thicken it much.
Can someone give me some ideas how to thicken this frosting without adding more sugar?
