Private chef looking to relocate

Thread Starter

Hi All,

I am a private chef and I am currently based in Portugal, Algarve.

I have been working here for nearly 8 years.

My work started really well and with the problems that Portugal is having and Europe

in general the work is getting less. I mean I only start work now from June - Oct if I am lucky.

I have had a hard winter 8 months doing nothing I have tried to find work elsewhere but it is hard.

I am thinking of relocating to another country but not sure where to go to find all year around business.

Does anyone know of any good places to move where people with money holiday and basically where

I can start again?

I have to move one day as it seems to be getting worse.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

There are any number of places I could suggest but first it is important to know a few things.

Is it safe to assume you have a passport? What is your country of origin? Are you single or do you have any family to support? Are there any countries you do not want to go to? Any countries you have always wanted to go to? Do you have any friends or family in any other countries who could provide a short term place to live while you establish yourself? What cuisines are you familiar with cooking and which ones would you like to learn?

After all is said and done, if you are single and can re locate anywhere, where do you want to go?
