Food Purveyors in the Desert

Thread Starter

I am currently operating a private chef business but I am expanding into a personal meal delivery service.  I'll be leasing out a commercial kitchen space and have the clientele to establish a relationship with a great food vendor.  I live in Arizona and the majority of purveyors I've seen are USFoods and Sysco.  Does anyone have any other advice or experience with any great vendors?  The food that I produce is local (as much as it can be) and my menu is made up of about 50% organic items.  Thanks!

Where in AZ? We have Diablo trust for beef, so many decent farms, queen creek olive mill, black mesa ranch sells great goat cheese and the occasional goat.

Aztec foods has tons of rare/exotic ingredients, and stern has some decent deals with an okay selection. Mount hope for all hard to find grains/spices/chiles that you don't want to import from Oregon or Italy. Jet fresh has great seafood.
