Hello I'm new!

Welll I thought i'd say hello and introduce myself.

 

My name is Erin and I am a novice cook. I just started really getting into it about a year ago. I've learned a lot since then and created a lot of good foods. Right now though i'm living by myself and my roommates had all the good chef knives so i'm exploring cheap but good ones.

 

I love cooking I try to cook on my day off a lot. I don't do too extreme things but I've found a lot of good recepies that I find on Pintrest. That's how I've gotten into it..

 

Thickening sauces or dishes confuses me.

 

Heavy cream, corn starch always confuses me so probably my biggest problem is sometimes I don't have the patience till the end of cooking and things end up runnier than they should but still taste good.

 

And that's about it. I'm 24, young, enjoying cooking on the side.

You know, nobody else gets me... You do what? You cook, you mean food?
