We are young couple who just returned home from Australia and want to open new restaurant. We are looking for headchef or great sous chef with quality experience.
The restaurant will be approx 60 seater with long bar / casual & dining section. Menu will be TO SHARE and very short (up to 15 items), changed every season. Using as much local produce as possible. Food will be modern Australian > VERY relaxed contemporary and unfussy. Focused on flavours, colours & textures.
Your job will be managing BOH - staff, creating menu (with us), doing all the kitchen admin, dealing with suppliers and dealing with us. The salary is negotiable. There is % from sales plus option for being a partner/owner in future. We can also provide accommodation.
We are looking for a friendly character with positive thinking, hardworking, open-minded, reliable person who loves food & cooking. Restaurants like Ox and Finch (Glasgow), Newmarket Hotel St Kilda (Melbourne) or The Empress (London) will give you idea what are we aiming at.
We are owners and FOH managers and we know exactly what we want to do. Prague is an amazing city with huge potential and this might be good job experience for you.
