Drive , ive recently been accepted to the Art institute of tampa and its about a 40 min drive for me. but Art inst. is so pricey they want 50,000 And I dont really know if thats worth it.Lcb i believe is 40 grand but my problem there is its so far away and i cant afford to move there
Hi Gnarleywill
I went through a community college culinary program and it was fine, especially since I had previous experience. It opened a lot of.information up to me; I've also continued reading and researching on my own.
We don't make a ton ofmoney.in this business, a smaller school, if you found a good one, would allow you to capitalize on your employers support.
Art institute here in seattle has a good rep, and put out some fine cooks i've worked with.
My 2¢
Actually i just found a CC that offers a degree in Culinary management and it looks really good, they have there own restaurant inside and everything so im pretty excited about that
