χαιρετώ! Hello Dimitris and welcome to Chef Talk. This is a most excellent place to ask questions if you are new

to cooking and baking. The experienced home cooks and the professionals will gladly answer your questions.

Before you post, try using the search tool to see if there has been a discussion about your topic already.

If not, choose the best forum for your question and start a new thread.

Please be sure to read the Community Guidelines, which you have agreed to follow when you signed up.

We home cooks can read all of the forums but we must not post in the Professional forums.

All of the general forums are for us, and for everyone. That is where you will find answers to your questions,

and where you are invited to participate in the the community. Don't overlook the excellent cooking articles,

cookbook and equipment reviews, the photo gallery and all of the wonderful things here!

We hope you'll visit often. If you have any questions about how the site works or anything else here at

Chef Talk, you can ask me or any other moderator. By the way, Nicko our founder is Greek too.

:D

Welcome!

Mezzaluna

(who is not Greek, but who has traveled there and grew up alongside many Greek friends and neighbors)

Welcome! All Greeks are welcome especially since I am Greek. What part of Greece are you from?

Thanks,

Ah, the closest I've come to your region is Kavala. But there's time to see more of Greece!
