Steaming times.

Hi all.

Just after some advice. Iv just bought a new food steamer. Just a pan steamer. Just wondering if someone can give me cooking times for vegetables

I like them soft with a wee crunch

Carrots
Cabbage
Cauliflower ?

It's going to depend on how big your pieces are cut. Nothing really takes more than a few minutes, except maybe carrots if they're not cut into slender batons or coins. Give whatever it is 5 minutes or so, then poke it with a fork to see if it's where you want it to be.
