I recently purchased a small bakery/restaurant on an island in the Honduras.  I think there's more potential in the bakery part of the business than the restaurant part, but I'm not a professional baker - or a baker at all, really.  The existing staff is good at baking what they know (mainly sandwich baguettes), but they don't know much else, and I don't know how to expand our offering, especially given the challenges of baking in a tropical climate, and getting specialty ingredients here.  I'm looking for an experienced baker who would be interested in a working vacation to come down here for 1-3 weeks and teach my staff new baking techniques, and help us get around some of the challenges we face in baking different types of bread (trying to do french bread right now, and we just can't get it!).  It's a very small and struggling business, so I can't offer any monetary compensation, but I can pay for the plane tickets, offer you accommodation here (the spare bedroom of my house), you can eat for free at the restaurant, and I'll make sure you have time off to enjoy the island as well.

If interested, please email me, and we'll set up a phone conversation to discuss in more detail.
