What are some good usages for cabbage?

 

I bought a bunch on sale this week.

One dish I like is haluski, I think it is called. It is a mix of cabbage, onions, bacon and egg noodles.

 

And of course braised cabbage, stuffed cabbage leaves, kimchee, slaws of various styles, and of course

Compost material?

 

Bird cage bed?

 

No, I don't like cabbage, except for taco and BBQ slaw.

 

Boiling cabbage makes me vomit. 

 

And I'm part eastern European. Go figure.

A bunch?  How much is a bunch?  Kimchi man.

Chop up a couple strips of bacon and fry until the fat renders out. Then add chopped cabbage, onions, peeled and sliced apples and caraway seed. Season with S & P.  Lower the heat and cover. Stir occasionally. When soft add a little brown sugar and dash of vinegar

cold slaw and sauerkraut. Both are cabbage.
