Thank you! They were a recipe from my grandmother. We used to eat them at the beginning of nearly every meal when we went visit her.
Here's how you do it:
1) Soak dried fava beans overnight.
2) Peel the fava beans and let them dry (about an hour).
3) Deep fry for a few minutes.
Make sure they get crispy/crunchy and golden brown. This can take a few minutes. The last batch I made, I didn't want to make them too crunchy so I stopped their frying a bit earlier... they ended up chalky and sticking to your teeth. Not good. But when done right they're absolutely delicious.
