A BIG HALLO to all!!

Thread Starter

I have been reading the forum for quite some time and finally have the time to join in the conversation and ask lots of questions from my fellow chefs out there.

I guess a little about myself.....I have been in the food industry since I was born....literally....born on the farm. My parents had no warning and no time to get to a hospital when this mover and shaker decided she was coming into the world...poor mum! We had a farm that was mostly cattle however we did have horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs and one rabbit. We grew our own food as we did not live close to any grocery stores. I started my career in the culinary world when I was 12 as a gloriously awesome dishwasher (now dish technicians...lol...go figure) and by the time I was a ripe old age of 15 I was baking, coffee roasting and still an awesome dishwasher! I graduated with all my hours for Red Seal in my back pocket and continued my journey for the next 25 years.

I LOVE FOOD and I like to see others with that same passion on this site. I hope to continue my journey of learning through the great many chefs on this site and maybe give a word of support to others as well.
