How to cook bison stew meat?

Hey I was wondering how to cook bison stew meat and how long it would take?

 

I just wanted to cook the meat and nothing else. I put it on the stove first in a pot and cooked it on medium flipping it over for about 10 minutes then put it in a glass pan and did it for 2 hours on 300 F. 

 

How long should I have put it in the oven for?? 

 

 

sorry I'm 16 and I'm just learning how to cook!!

Best bet would have been to brown the meat, add water to the pan and simmer it slow until tender. Small pieces of meat do not work well for baking unless in a liquid. It could have been used to make kabobs on a grill also but it would have been a bit chewy and tough.
