I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the challenge, I enjoyed so much seeing your dishes and watching your inspiration videos.  A special round of applause for the runners up which include:

@kaneohegirlinaz your roasted chicken would have made Julia very proud, and I got a real kick out of that Brady Bunch clip with the porkchops and applesauce!

@dcarch A brilliant plating of the Silence of the Lamb Chop, creepy and frightening just like the movie that inspired it.

@AllanMcPherson I was struck particularly by your sci-fi squid steak!

But ultimately I was won over by the steak tartare submitted by @petalsandcoco, thank you for a wonderful trip down memory lane with Mr. Bean food scenes, they're classic!  And in staying with the Brit theme I'm glad you introduced me to those 2 guys making the Moules Frites. Brava!

Thanks again to everyone who participated, I look forward to our next challenge!

And the winner for the least popular monthly challenge topic in the history of Cheftalk? Me!!

Good to be back home at a real computer.

While this challenge may have produced the fewest entries, I bet it produced the most laughs and memories!

Thank you for hosting, looking forward to December.

@Koukouvagia:

I really liked your idea for a challenge and I had several things lined up, but time was not on my side.

At least for cooking that is as I was busy enjoying fishing 2 competitions this last month, just before our fishing season ended.

And I won one :peace:

I'll be back in this months competition and go through this whole thread to see what everyone came up with.

I missed the challenge. Sorry  for that KK. Many daily-life worries. I even missed my cooking habilities, -if there were any-, and i'm burning (or undercooking) food like a newbie.

Petals: well done..
