Ski-Val are looking for a head chef in Val d'Isere and St Anton.


We are currently looking for two talented and experienced chefs to join our teams in Val d’Isere and St Anton. This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work in an outstandingly beautiful resort with over 300km of piste on your doorstep! This role requires you to be highly organised, motivated and hard working. Seasonal experience is preferred and experience in cooking in a professional environment and for large numbers is essential as Ski-Val are committed to providing an exceptional service to our guests and as head chef you will need to maintain our high standards. Professional cooking qualifications are desirable.

The ideal candidate will:
•Be comfortable cooking a four course evening meal, breakfast and afternoon tea cakes for up to 60 guests in Val d'Isere. Up to 24 guests in St Anton.
•Understand the importance of a budget and dealing with stock ordering, rotation and being able to liaise with suppliers throughout the season. A good understanding of French/German would be an advantage.
•Lead by example, you will have a kitchen team to supervise and you will need to ensure staff are motivated.
•Be comfortable catering for guests dietary needs.
•Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen and keep up to date on paperwork.
•Have a nothing is too much trouble attitude and be able to think on your feet. You will be interacting with guests on a daily basis.
