Todays catch

Got some nice rock fish today from one of our local guys.

$2.00 lb whole fish, also had some nice ling cod for $3

Very nice. I've not had much luck here going to the shores of The Great Salt Lake waiting for the fishing boats to come in.

What did you do with them? I am hungry just thinking about them. Love fresh fish.

That's funny, I thought there was a big salt cod fishery there...

I like salt cod, once in a while. And yes, you'd think it might be more readily available here.

Not too surprising.. I think people like exotic things.. For a while Florida had a lot of California citrus.. I imagine that California was importing Florida citrus too.. makes for great profits when it's something you can't get locally.

Nice Buba.  Fresh fish is like an oxymoron here unless we get them out of the live tank.
