Hello everyone! My name is Alli.. I'm the owner/creative genius behind my new business Simply Baked. I'm here looking for a supportive community in the cooking world, and hoping I can find some new friends and colleagues to share my ideas, recipes, and shenanigans with!

Welcome, Alli! Chef Talk is a great place to connect with others in your sector of the culinary world. Because our members are global and willing to exchange ideas, your network just expanded exponentially. Whether your operation is retail or commercial, no matter the size, there are people here with experience to share. Of course, many of us are home cooks with a different skill set. :D Keep an open mind and you can learn from everyone. For example, the best person to learn about a particular Italian pastry might just be the Italian member who's a home cook. 

 

Please take time to explore the entire site and look beyond the discussion forums to the cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, photo galleries and more. Each month we have a cooking challenge, which is featured in the Food and Cooking general forum. A new one should be posted soon for December. I think you may find some intriguing reading there and want to join in.
