I’m Luis and I love food I love being in the kitchen and playing around with stuff; I have no formal training whatsoever, but I do have several years worth of messing things up in the kitchen behind me.
I’m living in Germany now and having lived for a while in the US and Mexico I appreciate different cuisines and techniques (slow smoked meat, stone grinded salsa, beer pairing, and so much more). I have been reading the forum for a while now but I hadn’t registered cuz I didn’t think there was much I could contribute… until now!
I chose a food related topic (surprise! haha) for my master thesis and it is part of a bigger study on user innovation. I honestly think it’s quite cool and would love for you guys to check it out. I don’t intend to spam the forum at all! I did ask for moderator authorization before posting (a big shout out to Phatch ^^). So if you have some mins and want to help science (and a fellow foodie) you can check the invitation on the Cooking Equipment Reviews forum (again, I don’t intend to spam anyone, so I’ll post it only there, where I think it’s relevant).
Other than that I’m happy to receive any comments or questions about food, my (very limited) experience, German/Mexican cooking, you name it!
