Difficult way of life. Great if you are single but hard if you are married and have kids. An easy way to save $$$.  Many hours 7 days a week. Contract mostly for 1 year or some 6 monthes.

Great for a way to see the world  for free. You will learn a lot mostly how to deal with other people. I did it and enjoyed it.  Chef on private yacht much better  more $$$

Great points all chefedb......

Yes you'll work a lot....7 days a week.....

You are pretty much a food factory.

Depending on your experience beforehand cruise ship dining can run the gamut from cheap eats to elegant fine dining.

This is a great opportunity for a young person to get experience in high volume cooking and expertise in prep work.

The work is not for just anyone.

It can be very easy to burn out quickly from the workload and work week.

If you are not dedicated enough to put in the time and effort, don't bother interviewing.

Hello!

Any other tips if you don't have the opportunity of going to london?

Is there any sites that connect different cruise companies?

Always wanted to do this but don't know where to start!

Best wishes Em
