Dicing jalapeno slices?

Thread Starter

I'm looking at youtube videos, and it looks like I got the wrong kind of jalapenos. I bought pre-sliced jalapeno coins

I'm trying to make a jalapeno popper dip, and the recipe calls for 1 can (4 oz.) diced jalapenos, drained or 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced..

It looks to me that it would be pretty hard to dice these pre sliced coins, unless I lay a coin down, put a cut in one end and scoop out the insides. Should I go buy 2 whole jalapenos?

I'd just drain a handful, then pile on a cutting board and hack away.
