A short hello from the lake!

Thread Starter

Hi all!

I'm a home cook who loves learning new things. Amazingly, I went most of my life without really learning too much about cooking beyond a short stint in college experimenting with baking. Around 40 I decided enough of that, I really wanted to be able to plan and make bigger and better meals, and to do so with more confidence. I've been absorbing as much information as I could, since. We have a local culinary school here, Johnson and Wales, and my next step is to take some continuing education courses there to learn even more. I guess my weaknesses are things I haven't yet delved in to, and I'm happy to have found this site to reference.

Cheers!

Welcome, glad to have you. If you would be willing to help us out please post a review of your culinary school. It does not take long and it helps out ChefTalk.com.
