I'm a home cook who loves learning new things. Amazingly, I went most of my life without really learning too much about cooking beyond a short stint in college experimenting with baking. Around 40 I decided enough of that, I really wanted to be able to plan and make bigger and better meals, and to do so with more confidence. I've been absorbing as much information as I could, since. We have a local culinary school here, Johnson and Wales, and my next step is to take some continuing education courses there to learn even more. I guess my weaknesses are things I haven't yet delved in to, and I'm happy to have found this site to reference.
