I don't have permission to make attachments?

I was trying to attach a pdf to a post, but upon clicking the little paper clip icon, I was greated with...: "You don't have permission to create attachments."

Any way we could attach files to posts?

That's a new one on me, but I've never tried to attach anything before. In a quick look through your account nothing obvious indicates why it shouldn't work.

It could be Nicko hasn't turned on the feature, but the editor still shows the button? I'm not sure.

Thanks for clarifying that. As a work around, you could load the file to a public folder on a cloud drive service and post a link to it.

I ended up emailing it, but it's too bad, it could have helped someone else. But safety first I guess.
