Hi all i hope this is in the correct section, i came on the site back in october when i was just about to open a sandwich shop/cafe in Crosby Liverpool. It has been a very hard but rewarding past 6 months with long days and late nights of thinking have we made the right choice but its now becoming natural and we are enjoying it more every day.
Ok well back to my post, we are in a great location on the main road that leads to a very busy beach so we are now in the process of starting to plan our summer menu. There is a really big footfall so we have decided to buy a Mr Whippy Ice cream machine to add to our kitchen. The problem is we no nothing about these machines at all. What goes into them to make the ice cream? How to maintain?
We are also trying to come up with some summer menu ideas as we have been doing really well thru the winter on stews, hot baguettes and hot pasta, but we are having to guess what people want in the summer as we are new to the business. My wife is suggesting lemon chicken and zesty ingredients but just wondering your thoughts please?
