Communication with and between employees

Hey all,

I own a catering company and I wonder how you guys keep in touch with your employees. Currently I save each employee's phone on my mobile, but since the employees turnover rate is high, its becoming a real nightmare. Moreover, they don't have a way to contact each other.

Any suggestions for how to manage this?

A while back I finally got fed up with the whole contact directory thing and told them if they wanted to work they would need to put on their big boy/girl knickers and keep up with it themselves.

They decided on a yellow legal pad on a clipboard with a pencil tied to it with kitchen twine.
One nail in the wall later the situation was better"
Perfect?
Pfft....we are talking about part time F&B peeps here lol.

Hi,

For staff scheduling, you can use Dropbox or ScheduleFly (which handles all sorts of staff comms). For just quick comms, you could use a WhatsApp group message thread or just a normal mail shot. Just include a field for email address and mobile (cellphone) number in your employee records.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Le Plongeur.
