Holy crap! I just started my own off premises catering business. I've been in the restaurant/food service industry for fifteen years (makes me sound old, but I'm not, I swear ). The main reason for this new endeavor is I'm deeply in love with my child and I want to hang out with him as much as possible. Oh! And I want to own a yacht j/k.
I'm excited to have stumbled across this awesome resource center and I look forward to "hanging out" with others crazy enough to pursue culinary dreams.
