Hi Everybody!

I'm Cindy or ILike2Bake. I bake Springerles, cakes, breads, and I started making confections. This place sounds like a great place to have my questions answered and to learn new things. Thank you for allowing me to join your group, to observe, and to pick your brains!

Hi Cindy glad to have you. Do you bake and make candy for fun or do you also run a business?

Thanks,

I do it as a hobby, where I make cakes, cookies, and confections for family and friends. I'm not very organized, and a bit too busy being a full time mommy of a 4 and 6 year old boys, pregnant with our third boy, and wife of a Navy man to have a real business. Here is a picture of what I made for Easter. I do have a Facebook "business" but it's a hobby, I don't make enough to do taxes on it. www.facebook.com/marthashearth

I also made robins eggs out of chocolate fondant and covered them with blue candy melts and had them in small nests, but my family ate them too fast to get them in the picture. The cookies are Springerles; the big chocolate egg contains peanut butter, chocolate marshmallow, and buttercream; the medium sized chocolate egg is my version of a Reeses egg; and the small chocolate ball is chocolate covered buttercream. there were also blue candy sail boats and anchors.
