Does your agar weep?

Whenever I store agar gel in the fridge for a couple of days I find it releases some liquid.  Without going into details, are there general rules for working with this stuff?

I have only had it weep when I bind alcohol or very acidic components. The basic rules I know are to add agar to your liquid before heating and allow to hydrate. Bring to a boil and simmer for 90 seconds. Sugar can interfere with it activating, so in high quantities, add the sugar after your mixture has come to a boil.
Once your mixture is set you will have a brittle gel or you can blend it to get a fluid gel. It is thermo-reversible.

I have absolutely nothing insightful to contribute to the discussion but I can't get a stupid notion out of my head... and that is, having Weird Al Yankovic singing "While My Agar Gently Weeps" accompanied by Jake Shimabukuro on ukelele. Naturally I couldn't find it on the internet, it only exists in my twisted cranium. There must be a reason.

At any rate here is Jake sans Weird Al

Please accept my humble apologies for hijacking an otherwise serious culinary discussion, I just couldn't help myself!

Frankly, I don't mind a bit of humor or off the wall comments in a "serious culinary discussion."

I was gonna make a joke too.. .

My agar only weeps when I start to boil water.
