I feel like no one on the forums, no matter how experienced they are, can help you with training your newbie better than you can help yourself with training him/her. The above sentence might be a little confusing but hopefully you get the point.
Nobody here knows your kitchen set up and where everything is located. You do. You've been working that station for a long time. Your chef must trust in your ability to hold your own ground thus entrusting to you a fresh newbie that will one day take over that station.
Just think about all the things you've learned while working at that station and pass it on. It's really not hard teaching someone to do something as long as you know what your doing. If your clueless yourself on how to run that station, that's a different story. If you don't feel confident, tell your chef and ask him to give the responsibility to someone else more suited for the job.
