Are Online Culinary School Programs Any Good?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the group and was wondering if I could get some of your educated opinions on online culinary schools. Are there any schools that you can get an associates degree in culinary arts completely online? THANKS!! čśä

This is an interesting topic and one I have often wondered about. There are some here who have attended online culinary schools but it seems like it is a difficult field to learn online. It really is a hands on work and it would be like learning wood working or plumbing online. You could study the theory all day but in the end the only real way to learn is to spend time behind the line. For subjects like sanitation and cost control I think it would be a great fit.

Thanks,
