- Responsible for preparing baked goods
- Ability to follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing items
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
- Measure, mix, wash, peel, cut and shred food items
- Stock, date, rotate and check temperature of product
- Responsible for presentation of baked goods
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- Commit to producing high quality products
- A culinary degree with a concentration in pastry
- Must be able to effectively communicate information orally and in writing
- Must have an understanding of how to use email as an effective means of communication
- Minimum one year experience
- Demonstrated fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Must be able to handle sharp knives, utensils and ovens in a safe manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- High level of resourcefulness and initiative, be a results oriented individual
- Have strong, positive interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to work as a team member and lend a hand to colleagues when needed
- Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, detail oriented and energetic
- Must have valid food handler's certification
