Hi there everyone! I just put all of $y info in my profile, but long story short: I am a veteran makeup artist, about to retire from the world of makeup (I'm only 28, by the way) and I will be seeking education in culinary arts. I am at the very beginning of my soon to be culinary career, so new that I'm unsure as to which branch I would like to specialize my skills in!! I'm really hoping to find a niche or decide if I really am the "do it all" type. So, opinions only - what schools did you guys attend? If not, where and how did you acquire your training? There is a culinary school near me, just looking into my options and hoping you guys would give some info too? Have a great day! - JJ

Hi, @JamieJones1126 A career change sounds really exciting! You have certainly picked an exciting career to change paths into. As for which branch to pursue, there are a lot of aspects of the industry represented on ChefTalk. You should be able to glean a lot of information across the forums. Congratulations on your new path!

Welcome to Cheftalk.com you can be really exciting changing into the culinary field and I think you'll find a lot of similarities between the make up field in the cooking field specifically around the creativity and I think you will really enjoy that. Please let us know if you have any questions about how to use the forms.
Thanks,
