I graduated 2 years ago from culinary school with my BS in Culinary Management and would really like to have the chance to work in another country to build my resume and skills. I live in the USA and am open to many different location. The problem is I do not really know where to look, or how to get started, so I would very much appreciate any help in getting started.

Does your school have some sort of job placement department?
That would be where I would go to find out who you need to talk to to get the ball rolling.

I do know it will involve already having a job and obtaining work visas.

Most if not all of the big hotel chains have internship and trainee programs all over the world. Try the accor group, the starwood group and the IGH group. Usually the school should have some sort of internship program and deals in place with at least some hotels, but then again it might not. Buy some food, a comfortable chair and start sending emails. Good luck.

(PS) I am currently in China and could probably help you out if you are interested.
