Italian sausage roll

I have Italian sausage the size of Costco hot dogs, large size. Figured I would take provolone cheese, chopped green peppers and onion
roll in Bisquick biscuits dough. It would be like when frank is rolled in crossiant dough. I'm wondering should I pre cook the filling or let it cook in the dough? What temperature and how long would each way take?

Since you are dealing with pork precook first.
