Hello from Buffalo

Hello all. My name is Desmond Curran. I teach refugees on the West Side of Buffalo, NY. I've always been a passionate cook, however I'm making a leap and opening a cookie business in Buffalo. It will be  an outside type of thing for now, using a bicycle and also a stationary vending. Found this site on the web and read many of the threads and everyone seems super nice and knowledgable. I have lots of questions about equipment to buy, etc.  I will be cooking out of my house for now. Hope to talk to everyone soon!

There are plenty of others in the food service industry here on Cheftalk who have been in your shoes. You might check out the catering forums and ask for advice on starting a business. There is also a forum for commercial kitchen rentals which might be just what you are looking for in the future at some point!
