So I'll be starting my first job soon and I was wondering what would employers ask in the interview. I applied for a training program at a large hotel chain.
JBroida thanks for your reply. I read it through my email since the post disappeared

Good luck to you. I'll never forget the first day of my first job... Half a century or so later. To this day I think of my first boss, who I thought was crazy but he taught me many important life lessons. One is to never consider any task "beneath" you.

Be conversant and answer any questions directly. Show that you are honest, hard-working and willing to learn. let them know that you will be a dedicated employee and want to work there. Asking the job is a good thing to say directly. Make sure you tell them the reasons.... And money shouldn't be the only reason. Also look for ways to demonstrate that you can work effectively with all sorts of people. You'll need that skill since every Job seems to have one too many jerks and a few feebs and that one person willing to stab everyone in the back to get ahead. Be the nice guy but never be a sucker!
