Hi. I am currently an ACF certified culinarian, but I would like to test for ACF sous chef. The requirements for work experience to take the exam, as I read them, are five years "entry level" experience. My question is whether less work experience is required if you are already working in a managerial capacity as a sous chef? My current experience is two years culinary school for an AA, one year as a prep/line cook, and 6 months as a sous chef for a total of 3.5 years experience. Thanks in advance for any help.
