Yup, Joined this forum waaaay back in '05, and I'm still here, full of beans and vitriol. I was trying to get 4,000 posts done before yesterday, but I'm still 30 or so short. Or should have I started a new topic about what a "best knife" is?.....
Today is the CDN thanksgiving, a public holiday, and I've actually got the day off. This day usually marks the start of the "busy season", Christmas molds are out of storage, large orders of couverture have been placed, p/t staff confirmed and brought in, and I got my flu shot for the season, I should be set. Every year we do more and more wholesale and less and less retail, so next year we're going to have to make some hard business decisions.
Congrats! I guess I probably qualify for old-timer status at CT as well. It's a great forum, and one that has been a treasure trove of info over the years.
Nah j/k. Speaking of Thanksgiving, I'm thankful that at least some things remain constant. Familiar names on cheftalk make me feel good when I come here.
Santa molds are officially out of retirement. Did my first couple of batches, and many, many more to come.
