Do you bake?

Thread Starter

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a baking service and would like to ask a few questions (to whomever superwoman that want to answer) to get some insights.

- What is the most important thing for you when it comes to baking? What do you want it to be? (healthy, easy, fast..)
- How often do you bake?
- What is your favorite recipe?
- What do you feel about baking? Why do you bake?
- Do you like to bake with your kid/s or you prefer to bake alone? Why?
- Do you like using a mix when you bake?

Thank you for your time and effort to answer this :)

What kind of baking service are you starting?

Taste is the most important thing.

I am obsessed with Springerle cookies and my moms recipe for them and have a killer bread recipe.

I love to bake, Orange Chiffon Cake is why I became a pastry chef. I bake at home because I love to and I don't like all the chemicals in store bought baked goods.

I bake with my kids because baking with my mom are some of my happiest childhood memories and because everyone should know how to make their own food.

I don't use mixes. It doesn't save you much time and they have tons of chemicals in them too.

Good Luck!

Delicious and with a solid recipe. So many recipes have errors and are written by boneheads. I just saw a cake recipe that called for 1/4 cup of salt.

- How often do you bake?

Frequently.

- What is your favorite recipe?

I'm an entremets lover.

- What do you feel about baking? Why do you bake?

Precision.

- Do you like to bake with your kid/s or you prefer to bake alone? Why?

I bake alone. I prefer to be in the kitchen alone.

- Do you like using a mix when you bake?

I use a KitchenAid at home and a large professional bread mixer at work.
