i am line cook in one of the famouse restaurant in canada but i am planing to move to even bigger ones with more pay,how can a food handling certificate affect my cv?

It can only add to it.  It probably means if they need someone to be there when the manager's not there you're at least partially qualified.

Hey kuan, thanks for your response. I just did my food handling cert and I passed, its easy though it's most of the stuffs I already know, anyways, its good for a cook to have one. I actually have another question. I am working on to challenge the RED SEAL exam but I have only been in Canada for 5yrs and been working since then.I understand I need certain #of hrs experience to qualify, does it have to be with a RED SEAL chef for those # of hrs to qualify for the exam? And how it can affect my CV if I pass it cus I believe I can. Thanks
