Hows your night guys?

Recently promoted to line cook. Its a chain restaurant and had my first sat night rush on fry. My moron "mentor" was drunk so i had a fun night. 2 big parties and 4hrs of a line out the door. Hows your night guys?

Better than that! Wish they'd space out the seating a little more though

Look at the bright side, his drinking is making you more indispensable because they might be short one cook pretty soon. Not only that but if advancement possibilities come up, he should be easy to vault over in the consideration of candidates.

Yeah, his drinking is sadly nothing new. We all think he knows a higher up or something cause he's even had complaints to management.
