Hello from California!

Hello! So i'm currently a college student and (i'm sure this extremely typical) I love food. Most of my time in college has been eating the same foods over and over because of a limited budget (sausages/brats, slow cooker pot roast and pork, etc etc). Came across this forum while researching for my first knife set and I'm very impressed. I do have a decent amount of family recipes, a large access to a pretty good variety of ingredients and very basic cooking skills. Hoping to learn a lot from the community here!
