What kind of knife sharpener should I use?

Hey guys,
 
My name is Anthony, I'm a new cooking lover. I am looking for a Knife sharpener, because my knives begins to be dull. So I saw this sharpener at 67% discount and I would like to know if it could be good or if I should buy a rod? Thanks guys!

If your knives cost more than $30, do not use this type of sharpener.

 I have a 2 stage Chef's Choice 300 Diamond Hone Knife Sharpener but I hear 3 stage is better. This has done a great job for me but my knives are Farberware ​whole set ran under $50.
