Need advice on this tool to make salsa

Me and my family eat a lot of fresh made salsa - bought or homemade. Buying it fresh made is much easier at me moment as I am in need of this

This is the tool we used at an old resturant I worked at in the past, and the same tool that a local grocery store uses to make it there. Has anyone seen this tool made by someone else at a lower cost? I'm not sure that 150 USD is justified for making salsa.

Use your knives.  What do you need to dice?  A tomato, an onion, some cilantro, smash a garlic?  2 minutes tops.

Honestly the time you would take to clean up outweighs any time saving of that thing.

I'm not going to say I agree with the process, but, I will say I have had a few tomato slicers in the past. There not cheap so the $150 range looks about right. I would look to see how much time and labor you can save with the tool. I think $150 isn't a bad price to pay for a tool that can save you a lot of time. The problem I always had with my prep people was that they were slower than heck on chopping. Thats why I had my wife do it, it kept her busy and out of my hair........

In all circumstances I find salsa tastes better when the components are cleanly cut. You can't get a clean cut using a tool like that, or a food processor, or a blender.

I've used such tools for fries, and tomato slicers for tomato slices, in the past. Good enough for production work when speed and quantity is needed but always at a quality cost. The quality is always mediocre at best.
