Hi all thanks for having me glad I found this cool place to connect with all things culinary.
So I'm 23 graduated from AiHouston in 2013 began as a prep cook at a wine cafe straight after graduating and later became the Chef. I worked there for 2 years before leaving due to management but I learned a lot and got my feet wet in running a kitchen and I love it. I worked a couple other jobs foh and boh as I found my Godly calling at my local church. I have many talents and management/administration is among them as well as my passion for cooking.
I was not in a kitchen for 6-8 months due to schedule issues as I felt my calling to serve at my church. Until finally God opened a door and I started working as a banquet cook at a country club. I love what I do there I've learned a lot about larger scale productions something I wasn't an expert at before. A fellow cook was promoted to Sous and then I got the opportunity to pass my knowledge to him! I'm proudly doing both my passions serving at my church and serving people great food. Where the Lord will take me next I'll be sure to update you all but thank you again sharing this community.
