For some reason I have decided to be vegetarian, but as veg food does not have so much variety of taste, so friends can you suggest some healthy recipes.

Want them less spicy so that my child can enjoy them.

Thanks

Hello Donatocarrisi,

I am a vegetarian  and I have been since the summer of 2015. I had to quit because of health reasons and now I don't even think about it. It will be hard to start out and going to restaurants will be extremely difficult to find something (at least down here in south).

You have to go with it using an open mind and after a while you don't think about it.

If you need some recipes just ask for some and I myself understand about things getting to spicy. It can even ruin the taste to good dish if done to much. It is a balance.

Good luck on your journey!

Yep! Its a monthly challenge and there are loads of great ideas which have been posted! I reckon being a successful vegetarian is all about knowing how to combine ingredients to maximise flavour. Its worth investing in a well stocked store cupboard of herbs and spices and other less known ingredients such as miso paste and kombu.

Are you a vegetarian who eats dairy foods @donatocarrisi ?

What age is your son? What are you making for him now? What does your son see you eat?
